These two had a really full wedding day and I could imagine at times maybe a little overwhelming. But what I loved about the two of them (as we watched them make sure everyone around them felt acknowledged, honoured and loved) is that they always seemed to make time, even in a room packed full of people, to steal a moment for themselves, to laugh, to share inside joke, to be the only two people in the room. They really took the pressure of a big wedding in their stride without missing the heart beat of their love amongst it all.

When Jo & Nick got in touch about their wedding at a French Chateau in Loire Valley we were a little beside ourselves. Not much could prepare us for the beauty of the region, the food the architecture. It was all just something straight out of a storybook.

The two of them are so lovely, generous, and kind. Getting to hang out with their families and nearest was a bunch of fun. They planned a 3-day celebration, of which I’ve only shown one day. They sure know how to plan a party!

It was an incredible honor to get to document their nuptials. Warning, long post ahead. Sorry, not sorry :)

Darwin is a beautiful place, steeped in a rich mix of many cultures. And I loved how Brydie & Adrian used all of the best things around them to create a day that was meaningful, intentional, special, and delicious! Yes folks, your eyes don’t deceive you – not only did Brydie arrive in style in a helicopter, but they also had wood-fired pizza, local beers on tap, stunning native floral arrangements, and a sunset you can’t ‘photoshop in’.

But way better than all these things, they have a deep and rich love and a community that 100% celebrates their union.

Brydie & Adrian, thank you for the privilege, for trusting me with your day and bringing me all the way to you! It sure means a lot :)

Two beautiful souls, committing to spend all their days together, surrounded by a loving community, is what it’s all about. Nathan & Olivia managed to find all three of these things and boy their wedding day was such an event! We even managed to get a private boat ride around Sydney harbor and off to the wedding reception.
