Casey + Brad – Blue Mountains

Arriving at Collits Inn feels a little like you’re dreaming. It’s got this intangible feeling of magic, like something special is just about to happen. I think that’s why Caysey & Brad thought it to be a perfect backdrop for their wedding day. And apart from a brief dumping of rain, right before the ceremony (and Brad receiving a large amount of lipstick after their first kiss) the day went off without a hitch. It was so incredibly special to be gathered with their closest friends and family, definitely something I’ll never forget.

Rory + Lizzie – Italy

We’re always stoked when anyone likes our work, but when you have visual creatives (such as Rory & Lizzie), it just seems natural to feel a little more excitement. And pressure haha. They live and work in London and were planning a wedding in Tuscany, Italy. It’s always been a dream to shoot a wedding in Tuscany so we were more than happy to say yes :)

It felt so natural to be with them, just like they were long lost friends of ours. And when we said our goodbyes we knew it definitely wouldn’t be the last time we had time together. They wrote some really kind words about us too, which really blessed our hearts.

kai and mel

Kai & Mel got in contact with me from Singapore, with words that they were planning their pre-wedding shoot and wanted to have a bit of fun. And that we did! There are so many amazing places between Sydney and Newcastle and we probably ticked a good few of them off in one day. We shot from sunrise to sunset (with a little break in the middle) and went to some amazing spaces together, and managed to have an absolute ball in the process :) A huge thanks to Jess at Little Paddocks for lending us her beautiful chapel (and cleaning up our confetti mess! :)

Morgan + Angie – Byron Bay

I grabbed a beer just as the night was coming to an end at Jill and Andy’s wedding, 1.5 hrs later I was still there chatting away with Angie & Morgan. These two are genuine humans, I think Dave and I fell a little bit in love with them. They were so confident in who they were, generous in spirit and so in love with each other. Angie was so easy to be around and Morgan (the man who belonged on a yacht) helped you feel like ‘life truly is a breeze’. Dave and Morgan also had an uncanny resemblance to each other, like they could have been brothers! It was super special and a huge honour to celebrate with them up at Elements in Byron. We also want to make a shout out to the vendors involved, they did an amazing job and were such pleasure to work with! Videographers  – Florist – HairStylistDress Celebrant

Jill + Andy – Mission Beach

These two create rays of sunshine wherever they go and I know everyone who meets them can attest to that! They are vibrant, courageous and unique. Just the kind of people we are drawn to! We loved our wedding day, but were a little bit jealous we didn’t take the kind of risks they did with their tropical paradise wedding celebration (maybe we just have fallen in love with warmer weather since moving to Newcastle). Their love is so contagious to be around and it was such an honour to be a part of their special day, in Mission Beach QLD. Enjoy!!!
